Kmlwx
Did a walk up to the hill to the end of my street. Top of the hill was nasty. Ripping snow and wind. Yellow band is legit +1. 6" at 10:20 RGEM was another first degree felony snow assault subject to capital punishment if convicted Do you think the RGEM is fo' realz? It's ridiculously pretty out there - I am the happiest 24 year old weather nut over here right now. Apparently I have some friends that are driving around

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Make that 3"/hr. According to my last measurement I'm at 2.7 per hour and I'm in only a partially yellow band. Ratios must be excellent.
Stormpc
Heavy snow, 20. Big flakes. Juicy atmos. IP line sliding east but popping up 95 to nearly Fburg and into Central So.MD. West side of that line has collapsed towards Cville. Chill is gonna be right about DC and north.

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Hope this stops progressing north!!! Only the HRRR shows the sleet making it to AA Co I don't see why it would progress much further north than the models had it, and if so, it should sink back south rather quickly. I wouldn't worry about it.

Leesburg20176
First time poster here. In Leesburg. Is it fair to say the jackpot has shifted east, or still too soon to tell? Looks like the RGEM certainly shows that, as well as current radar. Getting a bit concern that those of us N&W might miss out.

AlaskaETC
Just went for another Jebwalk. Coming down at a good clip with wind here at Springfield, 21 degrees. 5" of snow so far. 10:34 PM.
RichmondTarHeel
Just had a quick siesta in the recliner and woke up to some heavy, heavy snow in Herndon, VA. Went out to check and I swear we just picked up another inch from the last time I checked 45 min ago. We're over 6" now to my untrained measurements. Swiscaster
Just came back from a Jebwalk. Not bad out. Light to moderate snow. Ambushed some dudes playing soccer with snowballs. Wasn't smart. 6" as of 10:15pm. 12 beers deep.
snow angel 38
Any reports of how far north the pingers have gotten? Correlation Coefficient 1 on Radar scope shows some possibly making it into St Mary's County? Im just nervous along the bay in AA co that could be the only thing that drops my total potentialI'm in Crownsville, no sleet here.
Wonderdog
While radar returns do indicate incoming heavy snow, I'm also wondering if this storm will last as long as advertised. I assume the storm will crawl or just drift off of the VA capes which will add to the duration of the event. By the looks of radar, southern central VA to Charleston is about done to these inexperienced eyes.

MacintoshPro
I'm in dark greens and its almost whiteout with heavy snow. The ratios must have gotten better, cause its really piling up. The winds are intense.

You will already see that line moving east and the west side collapsing south. Far west spotsy back to snow.
