PrinceFrederickWx
the sleet line made it really close to dc during feb 10, if i remember correctly, but then the coastal took over which helped. what can ya do. it either makes it here or it doesn't. This is true- I remember everyone on accuweather was freaking out the night of Feb. 5 cause the mix line was getting really close to DC, but it never happened. wxdude64
Well, I had about 20 minutes of sleet mix in about 40 minutes ago, but as you used to hear on MNF, 'Whoa Nellie!' it is cranking now. I had a 2 inch/hour rate earlier this morning, this is smashing it with ease.

MacintoshPro
Whats with all the sleet panic? Its prob going to sleet at some point esp for those further SE. This is not a shocker. I think people expected sleet Saturday w/ the possible dryslot/lull. People are freaking out about sleet now because they know that the overnight period is our main mauling and any sleet could cut down on their totals significantly.
