Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think GSP often uses the NAM heavily in the short range. Robert, too, has often touted the NAM as having been the go to model for short range since the 2010 Christmas storm. It seems to pick up on WAA much more than some of the other models, though it probably overdoes it at times. Maybe Jon or WOW has some verification scores for the NAM and other short range models?
