stormtracker
I don't like that GFS run. Yeah it looks awesome in spots but I liked things better when they had some front-end action. It seems now we are relying on the really tricky comma head snows to set up over us and dump. smh. Matt addressed your post in the model thread, but dude. Come on... va_ghost
What is wrong with people....stop obsessing about mixing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Well, I'm very used to a rain/snow line being close to RIC with occasional warm layers turning snow into an ice storm. Not fun.
RickinBaltimore
People are losing their composure now and I don't even understand why haha. People are waiting for Lucy to pull the football from them I guess? I look at it like this: I'm getting a foot of snow. Anything else on top of that is awesome. Sure, but does that mean he (and for that matter, you) expect to see areas in the DC Metro that eclipse 36"? I just can't even fathom that... I just really want to get into a debate about sun angle Thank God we're in the time of year we don't have to hear about that nonsense...

Sacrilege! I will make a deal to anyone who worries about mixing. After it is over, please dig out your sleet and feel free to bring it to my house and trade it for snow. Good luck! Hope I'm wrong but worrying is a weenie's way of life. DC's not going to be the bullseye. WE all know that. So when the Euro is consistent with DC NOT being the bullseye, it's not going to be earthshattering or worrying.

I guess that's still awesome but a let down. With these deform bands the winners win huge but the losers are stuck under light snow for hours. Ltrain
Why do people hug the RPM so much? Tony said that the RPM shuts off the precip around Baltimore Saturday morning. Then he said he has a hunch that the Euro will show something different than the other global models. He is hinting that he thinks it will follow the RPM.
