mappy
You guys really gonna steal our snow again this year? Didn't we teach you a lesson last year? And Jeb, I want you to eat an entire box of jelly doughnuts and get fat as hell during this one. I'll do the same if we can ever get anything over 6" this year up here. Good luck MA, you deserve it. Yup, we threatened Mother Nature with global warming unless we got a **** ton of snow while everyone else cried into their Cheerios. You figured us out
PhineasC
Maybe about time for the NAM to go full-ape**** and drive the low up the Chesapeake.

terpsnation
I hope everyone outside got their fill of crashing their cars tonight. If these people are out on Friday its going to be absolute mayhem out there. Watched 2 accidents earlier, just stood outside for 15 minutes and saw 3 more. One poor civic parked on the side of the street has been hit twice now. Courthouse hills are no joke.

terpsnation
I've been playing a drinking game every night for the past few days. Every time Ravens94 posts in all caps I take a drink. I've been hammered every night
Ian
If anything they wiggled a bit and then went back to more of a look like what they had before the energy was ashore. I agree with dtk that the amount of data we now ingest into the models makes a surprise shift really unlikely.Probably worth it for research and such after tho it adds some decent cost to up the balloon launches etc.
clueless
Where is Yoda? Don't think Ravens94 is a good sub for NAM pbp. Edit: Whew. He's back.
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Looks like this is going to make the northern/western burbs crew happy, pretty significant bump NW. As long as it doesn't bring the mix line to DC I'm still happy.
delgto04
Haha. It doesn't matter to me if it shifts north or south. I'm gonna get hit either way In Northern Delaware.
Don Cherry's Jacket
Let me just note that the nice hing about a massive snow is most people stay inside. This "dusting" is crushing the roads tonight. Tookm me 2 plus hours to get from he west end to outer Arlington/ inner McLean. 7 miles. Brutal. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Coastal is tucked right beneath the bay at 60, I'd start to worry about mixing if that actually happens. Luckily its the NAM at 60 hours.
caviman2201
So I'm standing there at my window... Giddy as a school boy... Watching the snow fall knowing it's just a fantastic appetizer to the main event... Drinking a tall pint of Stone Russian Imperial... When my wife asks, "what do you like better? Beer or snow?" Mind literally = blown. I just stammered and said... "both"... It was all I could do. /story Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

87storms
not sure we'd want a north trend like that with still a full day of models to go. i imagine we'll be close to the mix line on this one. also, would think it would bring a dry slot a little closer too. onto the gfs... nj2va
Now it's the 'north trend' people freak out about. Yesterday, it was the bumps south for the heaviest precip that people were hand wringing about.
