Looked at the 12Z Saturday sounding for DC and it showed an even better unstable layer than the NAM.  I'll be surprised it someone does not hear thunder in the area Saturday morning

I tweeted out to Ian earlier about possible GW enhancement with TSSN+ and a 4-6 hr burst. Very impressive Wes

Looks like a 7pm start time.  I'm thinking 4 to 7pm now.   

 

Should come in like a wall of sorts. Not right to heavy or anything. The nice thing about coastal WAA snow is you don't have to wait long for the column to saturate. Unlike stuff from the north and west where you have an hour + of radar returns overhead before the first flake.
