snowalot
Sorry, had to go buy 12 gallons of milk and 10 loaves of bread. What about the 7 dozen eggs?
Superstorm93
I really, really do not care for the MA sub-forum. Between DT and all the other garbage, its unbearable. Thats one heck of a look on the NAM
neff
If Neff did this intentionally this is high-level troll job and I can get behind that. I SECOND THAT! HAH! I honestly didn't. Like I've said (repeatedly), my interest in discussing events in the MA forum is because I spend 45+ hours a week in MD.
pawatch
But will the hi-res NAM again be pretty opposite like it was at earlier? Radio show on btw, listening to the right show. They're kinda generally poo-pooing the NAM in winter, not saying it's rung wrong but it can be off due to how it's built. What year tonight? canderson
Will killing the NAM on the show, it's sad. "No reason to believe the NAM, it has no support. The SERFs don't even count they're som ridiculous."
paweather
At this hour, I can't believe we are going to see any further major shifts. If that were the case they need to throw out all models and forecast manually. Maybe a blend, compromise somewhere in the middle but I can't believe we will now see a major shift back south again. Never discount a Met but I don't understand the part of the NAM doesn't have support. 18z GFS came north, SREF's are north...NAM is now within the range you can trust a little more and it has not waffled outside of one 6z run I believe that was south. This is why I can't listen to radio shows or read the MA forum. Other mets chime in but the NAM has to have some relevance I would think.
var126
Any recommendations of a comfortable motel with big picture windows near the interstate with an attached restaurant/bar (Mexican would be nice) somewhere close to the action (southern tier / northern MD)? Barring a jump to the north, I am thinking of bringing some homework and driving out of the Fringelandia after class tomorrow.

There are some hotels off 83 in shrewsbury just a few miles north of the md line. They usually do well in these setups. Decent elevation there helps too. NortheastPAWx
For comparison's sake...one hell of a shift. Important to note the continuing NW trend as opposed to it going the wrong way. (and canderson no these are not runs from yesterday, two days ago, or 2011)

AllWeather
HiRes NAM looking north, too, at least compared to its previous run. And it's Snowfall distribution looks not quite as outlandish as its lower-res parent. Pegs LSV pretty hard and down in NOVA, and still the right gradient.
