I don't keep.records but pretty sure I went over 20" measured the new way, closer to 30 the way we would've done it last year. It's weird though because it hardly felt like winter other than a few weeks. Honestly can't say that I missed it though, the last few years were for real and I wasn't prepared for the shoveling this time around.

Not looking forward to a cool.spell for early April at all.

Had a trace of snow during the last fiasco of coastal storm recently.

Seems weird how you have only 2 inches less than me, and I got way more than you during the Blizzard.

Yeah, I have them. Just saying I got like 5 inches more on January 23 and 4.5 inches on February 5th which you don't even have listed. I was just curious as to where your extra snow came from.

It's called the higher elevations of NW NJ. I will do research on the 2/5 event. Best guess is nothing west of the rt 23  Sonoco in west Milford heading north on rt 23 on 2/5. Read the news about the NW zone shaft.

This was the best winter( hate snow) or worst on record in NW NJ.

What's your point?

I had some measures at 19 to 19.5 inches.

Lowest reading was 16.5.

Final call was 17 inches to make people happy.

I got buried with snow. Storm was amazing.

That's my unedited post, in which I was responding to your post where you said January 23 instead of Ferbeuary 5th. You later changed it to the correct date, so I edited my post as well.

okay.

I am sticking around for another year in Highland Lakes.

Plan was to stay until I got 36 inch snow record in NJ.

Wife tells me I am chasing nothing....getting older. ( wife wants to move to Park City, UT)

Still plan to keep the house after this year. I really enjoy the area and Warwick, NY.

Well, I'd like to try Montana, Flagstaff, or maybe somewhere in the Appalachians. Big change though, I still have a lot of time here.

Friend of mine actually lives in Flagstaff, AZ.

He is a highly respected bird watcher in the SW. ( Wife is a professor at NAZ)

Let me know if you have plans to head out there.

Yeah, it'll probably be awhile. Lot of money and time for the trip I'd want to take.

You seem like a young a guy. My only regret in life was not staying in Aspen/Snowmass in August of 2000.

I decided to come back the Philly area. Life was amazing in that year.

With all good things in life, you never know the future.

My  college GF(Amy)  died in a car accident in the summer of 2000 when I was back east. ( We had plans together).

Took me years to get over the tragedy, still miss her.

Yea. It was awful.

I still recall the day. Still bothers me to this day. I have never been the same.

Good news is that, I have a wonderful supportive wife.

As I said, that is my only regret in life.

If I stayed, the future would not have occurred.

Like, I said..i have a wonderful wife that brings me happiness & pleasure these days
