snywx
Yeah, some of mine have that problem but others opened up in the past couple days here. Currently reclined sitting in the sun with a cold beverage. Breeze has really picked up and temp is starting to drop. Beautiful day out there otherwise! Animal
Put me down for 9.8" total. #STFU16 Funny aspect is the one storm in January was the big FU about 12 miles north of me. If that storm never occurred, I would have around your total. Anyone north of Florida basically got nothing in the storm. Foot line was 3 miles north of Warwick. gravitylover
I don't keep.records but pretty sure I went over 20" measured the new way, closer to 30 the way we would've done it last year. It's weird though because it hardly felt like winter other than a few weeks. Honestly can't say that I missed it though, the last few years were for real and I wasn't prepared for the shoveling this time around. Not looking forward to a cool.spell for early April at all. JerseyWx
Nothing weird about it. Any records on your end. Yeah, I have them. Just saying I got like 5 inches more on January 23 and 4.5 inches on February 5th which you don't even have listed. I was just curious as to where your extra snow came from. I was just curious as to where your extra snow came from. It's called the higher elevations of NW NJ. I will do research on the 2/5 event. Best guess is nothing west of the rt 23 Sonoco in west Milford heading north on rt 23 on 2/5. Read the news about the NW zone shaft. This was the best winter( hate snow) or worst on record in NW NJ. Animal
The January 23 event was the Blizzard. You got 17", and I got 22" What's your point? I had some measures at 19 to 19.5 inches. Lowest reading was 16.5. Final call was 17 inches to make people happy. I got buried with snow. Storm was amazing.

Wife tells me I am chasing nothing....getting older. ( wife wants to move to Park City, UT) Still plan to keep the house after this year. I really enjoy the area and Warwick, NY. Animal
Yeah, it'll probably be awhile. Lot of money and time for the trip I'd want to take. You seem like a young a guy. My only regret in life was not staying in Aspen/Snowmass in August of 2000. I decided to come back the Philly area. Life was amazing in that year. With all good things in life, you never know the future. My college GF(Amy) died in a car accident in the summer of 2000 when I was back east. ( We had plans together). Took me years to get over the tragedy, still miss her.

It was awful. I still recall the day. Still bothers me to this day. I have never been the same. Good news is that, I have a wonderful supportive wife. As I said, that is my only regret in life. If I stayed, the future would not have occurred. Like, I said..i have a wonderful wife that brings me happiness & pleasure these days .

And as you know, it goes back much further than just the past few months. I'm guessing that as things start to green up we'll see the ponds, streams, etc drop quickly.
