SEC
Three of the loudest thunder-booms I ever heard passed through my town about an hour ago. The storm is long gone and there wasn't much rain but WOW, it was loud!
gravitylover
Getting dark out there and rumblin' and grumblin'. If I didn't know better I'd think we have a storm incoming. Ehh at least it was a super nice day.
gravitylover
That was a good one. Booming rolling thunder, lots of lightning, torrential rain and a short but intense blow. Good stuff.

IrishRob17
That was some of the loudest thunder last night around 11 that I've heard in years here, and rolling as mentioned by it others. There may have even been some small hail but I can't confirm.
UlsterCountySnowZ
Thought I'd share his, my wife thought lightning hit our house last night ( I was working) I looked up the lightning strike location app, apparently the bolt she heard hit the backyard.... I'm glad it didn't hit the house

IrishRob17
We've had summers with fewer thunderstorms than we saw this astro winter.True story. Last night was at least the third decent thunderstorm this calander winter. The other two had heavier rain in one, stronger winds and hail in the other but last nights takes the prize in the thunder category.
West Point, NY
Had 2 thunderstorms around dinnertime, both of which had small hail and fairly frequent lightning and at times, house shaking thunder. Looking forward to a big snow on Sunday night

White Gorilla
Does all this unusual convective activity this winter (weird to say that) portend an active severe weather season in Spring and Summer? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

CPcantmeasuresnow
Euro gives us all the big fu It caves to GFS. Why the F did I let myself get suckered into this again? And why would I expect this Sh!t hole of a winter to finally produce. Change my F to an F- . I know this was the second warmest Met winter ever but This has to be the warmest November to March period ever. Anyone have stats on that? IrishRob17
Euro gives us all the big fuAs is tradition. I'm expect the ultimate kick in the balls, .3" of snow. So I miss out on the storm but get just enough to break 10" on the year. #STFU16
