rgwp96
Wow, that's pretty cool. Goes to show how such a small town can really vary in weather. Winds picking up should make me rise quickly now
CPcantmeasuresnow
Another fantasy 7-8 days away. Odds it happens this way? This winter I say it's a 50-1 shot right now.

chietanen
Must be fun to be in western NY right now, especially Rochester, where I lived before 2010. Check out the radar. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk They are right near the mix line and getting crushed. They've reported around 0.25" of precipitation per hour for the past few hours, probably snowing around 2"/hour. Meanwhile, Elmira is 34 with heavy rain and Syracuse is 32 with rain. See, things could be worse!
IrishRob17
I was outside this morning when the warm air finally showed up. When I first opened the door I thought it was pouring rain but it was all the ice flashing melting. Temp went from 32 to 48 in about 15 minutes, I'm sure the temp kept rising but I had to hit the road. I had a similar experience in 94. So I got to experience that which was cool, a great snow squal last month...yeah, that about sums up Winter 16 #STFU26
chietanen
What do you guys think of the wind potential this afternoon? Looks quite gusty on the 4k NAM. Should be very windy up on the peaks for sure.

Juliancolton
Great afternoon to have my weekly cigar while watching the sideways rain. As much as it sucks to not be snow, I still dig a good rainstorm. Now the question is, does it clear up quickly enough for a good sunset?

White Gorilla
Reminds me of northern Plains storms... I don't know why, but that kind of weather contrast over such a short time in the same place just blows my mind. Welcome to the temperate latitudes in a changing climate! White Gorilla
I think if there is a a winter with a higher chance for a triple phased cyclone, this one holds water. I can see that happening in March. I see an even more volatile month upcoming. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
