Yup. It's been a bad season up there for snow. But yes, Osceola, Montague, Redfield, all usually get 250-300 inches a year. Lowville ( which is a nice little town up there) gets less. But, they still get 175-200 inches a year and is worth some seasonal trips.

psv88
Pretty impressive CAD at this hour all the way down the spine of the Apps. Check out the temperature range in Georgia. rtma_t2m_atl.png Went to college at Emory, NE side of Atlanta. A few times a year we would get ice storms from the CAD, the NE side of town was often below freezing with rain/sleet, and the west side was slightly above freezing. This same exact pattern played out every winter. The City of Atlanta itself was often the dividing line. 10 miles south of the city by the airport often saw nothing...but head northeast up towards Athens (UGA), and the ice storms are brutal. Very cool microclimate in that area. Check out the current radar, looks like they are about to get a brutal ice storm tonight. Off topic, anyone see the show Hamilton yet? Really would love to see it, but it's sold out forever. They just performed the opening number on the Grammy's.
