I cannot believe we will be bare ground while places way south are buried in late January and I don't see any significant snow after this one for a while.

The SREFS up to Newburgh are 1.17" with a max possibility of 3.8" lmao

Thats almost an inch wetter than yesterday

We had one issued for us this morning... Doesn't mean much though, just gives the NWS an opportunity to warn it or drop down to an advisory if it warrants.

I think they did it for us for the southern part of the county but even there you have to wonder. Upton is covering their butts as you pointed out.

I think we're pretty well boned WRT this system. It was a fun week of tracking, to be sure.

At least we still have two months to plausibly cash in. March snow climo is higher than December afaik, so we're really just coming up on 1/3 of the way through peak snow season. Last I heard, JB likes mid to late February.
