Hoth
It's pretty funny to think three weeks ago many were bemoaning a wall-to-wall ratter winter. Now one of best storms in NYC history is underway. Kind of reminds me of Boston last winter at this time. Go get 'em, guys. This is so fun to watch. dmillz25
Hoth I felt how you are feeling right now. I was rooting for Boston to break their all time seasonal snow. Btw we went from nothing to above average snow in one day lol

ForestHillWx
Getting worried about the weight of this snow on the flatter roofs in the area. The drift areas in particular.

IsentropicLift
This was a great storm but no where near as amazing as Boxing Day at least in my neck of the woods.Boxing Day was extremely localized. One mega band and that was pretty much it. When you combine the WAA precip and a coastal that's how you get a HECS like this one. Boxing Day was historic on about a 50-75 mile wide swath. I completely agree this storm was huge on a massive scale. I just meant IMBY although this storm is definitely Top 3, maybe even Top 2.
Rjay
Best storm since 1996 and I would rate this one over that for my area. True blizzard conditions for hours on end.

ChineseFood4Snow
The NAM is onto nothing. This is embarrassing. How many times do you guys need to see the NAM in this time range blow up and tuck in a storm close to the coast giving us a ton of snow (while the globals show something completely different) and be dead wrong?? AUTO-TOSS!!! Ha! It's gonna take many more times now!
