Sn0waddict
I think I'm pulling myself out of this one, good luck to those in NJ/LI though you guys really have a good shot at this. Damn NAM dragging me back already.
Neblizzard
I know it's the nam and it just bought an super 8 ball from the streets. The Ukmet came north and it's possible the nam is sniffing out a north trend. I give it 80/20 credence right now that's it wrong. Gfs needs to hop on board.. HillsdaleMIWeather
Remember: DT is horribly biased towards the ECMWF, I could see NYC getting 8-

Last year, the NAM and Euro agreed -- giving us the snow map he posted. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

UnionWeatherWx
RGEM/EURO combination is deadly. RGEM has 0" for high point,nj, with mod snow making it to northwestern essex county at hr 48. It's over guys.

CiBill
Just as a little social experiment, what would you guys have done if the NAM was the only one showing weak, southeastern solution less than 48 hours out, while the rest showed a perfect hit for the coast? Would the NAM suddenly lose it's veracity, or would you guys still believe it? Something tells me a lot of people here are model hugging the NAM, even the mets. tmagan
Nice warm up coming after this threat passes through. If D.C. gets enough snow from this storm, they will finish the year with more snow than NYC, and possibly Boston.

I'm yet to see a single post that hugs the nam? Or see a met do the same... Explains what the nam shows.. Is not hugging it... Nobody on here said the nams correct in its solution.. SnoSki14
I think if most of us within the metro get 6-10" then that's pretty darn good. Given how awful the winter has been I'd gladly take it and run. I'm excited to see how crazy things get in the mid-Atlantic though.
