It's certainly possible that NYC may only receive 2" on the end at this rate. I don't even think Upton should issue a Winter Storm Watch at this point.Just one day ago, there was almost uniform consensus of 2" QPF for NYC. You really need to stop trying to compare this storm to last years miss. The setups aren't even close to being similar. it puts wrong info out there and confuses people that don't know any better. Still have 54hrs till the storm starts. GFS looks better at 500mb level than 18z. Ggem looks about the same and some hints toward a better solution.
