Juliancolton
Have to laugh at a rainstorm two days after record lows. Nature finding every possible way to screw the mid Hudson Valley out of a big snowstorm this winter. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk At least we have a robust cold snap to show for our awful snow totals. If there's one thing worse than a snowless winter, it's a snowless winter without any subzero readings.

EasternLI
I'm starting to like the period around 2-25 for a chance at something. 12z EPS has LP at the BM. GEFS sees a storm also, but it's right on top of the area for now. There should be a +PNA ridge spike around that time as well. Over 10 days out, so this goes in banter. Juliancolton
i got annoyed at staying up til 3 am to track the temp and seeing it stall for 2 hrs To be fair, we had all pretty much thrown in the towel on subzero NYC reading by midnight or so. That was really lucky.

coastalplainsnowman
KFRG readings have got to be seriously whacked out today. High temp of 27 between 654am and 1253pm when at Islip the high for the same timeframe was 9 and knyc was 11? Not possible unless the thermometer was brought inside today. LongBeachSurfFreak
So I just have to cherish this moment after the 1.5" in wantagh I'm over 40" for the season and the area jackpot currently. I don't that has had, or ever will happen again this late in a winter. It wasn't just the blizzard in Nassau we had multiple other jackpots some small and one large. Pretty nuts. And still plenty to go. Not to go "there" but our climo is just nuts. From record warm December to 40" with more to come. Even I didn't believe it could happen with my forecast being 20-30.
