Paul Kocin and I will be working this weekend at the NCWCP. He's on day shifts, I'm on midnights, but will (obviously) have to camp out Saturday and probably Friday as well. As much as I'm not going to be thrilled being stuck at work, we're going to fully enjoy the event as I'm sure you all will! Hopefully this storm will be worthy to include in Volume III of Northeast Snowstorms :)

Awesome.

There won't be any shortage of material with this bad boy.

Use a notebook for a pillow.

Didn't the oft-forgotten second storm in 2010 get there? I know it didn't blast DCA as much as spots further north.

I don't remember that one ("SNOMG" or whatever it was called) having sufficient sustained wind. It had some wind, but honestly don't remember the 35+ criteria not having been met.  I think there was an ice storm that had that kind of wind (2011 or 2012 maybe?) but it was ice.

:lmao:  So we lose our 8-10" only to get it back at the end

The DGEX is awesome.  8-10" on the front side, followed by 3" or so of flooding rain, and capped off by another 8-10" on the back.  I hope they never stop running that model.  Probably can do it off a 10 year old Acer.
