tnweathernut
Deform band begins to rapidly fall apart after hour 60, though the secondary low has a deform band that tries its best to come back into northeast TN. The staggering amounts of snow this run appear to be from Jackson TN to Nashville and points to the immediate northwest.

I will let tnweathernut get that one for you since he lived around there. Really heaviest snows set-up on the line were the west and middle grand divisions are split. The low moved right over north GA and then transferred. Looking like the warm nose go you. Hey, northern MS people. Nice run for you all w/ some 11" lollipops in northern MS. Glad to see that and would be happy for them at the same time. As for the 6 degree reading, not unheard of with almost a foot of snowpack and a departing bombing low... So, looks like mixing is the problem in the southern Valley. Maybe even some rain.

Carvers Gap
Thanks man. I hope areas that haven't had good snow in awhile get bombed. The eastern Valley north of I40 is definitely in this. Knoxville is at the southern edge. Has been on multiple runs. Sometimes it gets on the good side of the cutoff and others not. The Euro looks much colder. Will be interesting to see the temp profiles on this.
