JayCee Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Calling it a night here. Appears I have about a half inch of snow right now. I'd say maybe another inch by morning, if I'm lucky. Radar returns and trends are just not looking good. Maybe something will happen overnight, and new development could take place, but I ain't gonna wait up for it. One nice thing about the snow is that it has been very sticky and all the trees have a good coating of white. I'm sure it will be beautiful in the woods around the cabin come morning. I have seen systems like this have another max that develops in southwest VA and slide into northeast TN around daybreak several times before. Now a good fetch of moisture coming down is getting enhanced as it drops into the east TN Valley. Snowing pretty good this morning. A nice surprise. At least its daylight and I can enjoy the show.
