Temps are never an issue - cooler than the last run... low is a little SE of the 12z GFS, giving it a perfect track. Temps are never an issue for DC. Huge snows. It is absolutely massive. last night when i was looking at the gfs it almost looked like it had tropical connections. the precip shield once it started getting together in the deep south was stretched deep into the gulf and further along into the tropics. our biggest storms seem to have that characteristic. maybe i'm wrong in that analysis. either way, would be a helluva comma head if the storm verifies.
