Best way to climo?

With a potential event looming perhaps it's not the best time to ask this question, but if you had the choice, which would you prefer?

Definitely a nickle and dimer for me.  I want extended cold and lots of cloudy days with snow falling.

Nickel and dime if it's a cold winter, otherwise boom or bust.

I would always be happy with a nickel and dime winter, but big snow is special and fun especially when it comes after a long snowless stretch. It's like comparing 1 trip to Disney Land vs 3 local fireman's carnivals.

The advantage of a nickel and dime winter is fewer opportunities for nail biters...

I'd rather have the one big but that's not too common so if being a realist you have to go nickel and dime tho that usually would include something solid as well.
