wkd
Philly is in the 20" area according to the eurowx maps. Randy insists we can't post the maps from eurowx. I disagree but what can I say.
Birds~69
When do the major outlets start throwing out totals? I would just say 12"+....getting kinda close.
phlsnowman24
The now required Monmouth County 22" jackpot is there, I feel comfortable with this now This is so true, haha. Someone really needs to do a climate study why they always jackpot in these big storms over the past few years.

I'd say 12-18 is a reasonable forecast as of now

JTA66
All the usual caveats aside (we still have 2 days to go, it's weather anything can happen) the Wed 12Z model suite was the hurdle I had to get past. Hopefully now it's just a matter of sorting out the details.

bluehens
from twitter That break between the heaviest QPF for us between NE MD and ENJ is strange... I think that gap between Monmouth and BWI will be closed and become more or less uniform when all is said and done. It has been an odd feature but very prevalent on a lot of runs.......not sure why. Banding will be key to big amounts.
Bluescat1
At this point the models have trended in the right direction, it comes down to how things play out. I don't think you can predict jackpots.

phlsnowman24
That break between the heaviest QPF for us between NE MD and ENJ is strange... It's not really that big of a break (~0.2" QPF). Could be where the WAA dies out and where the coastal gets going (obviously better for coastal NJ)...
