Typhoon Tip
it's flipping and/or flipped to snow across much of the area but this isn't going to cut it. we appear to have received(ing) perhaps half the qpf of the modeling mean i saw yesterday - given the verification of those totals, we both probably would have switched earlier, and thus had a more serious paste situation going on. rad shows back edging and attenuation, too - heh, at least we were right about the snow getting in here. wah wah waahh, on the lightness of it. CapturedNature
Reports of about an inch at home 0.4" here on the board. A little more on the grass so it depends on where you measure. Intensity has backed off here. Almost feels like rain mixing in again.

CapturedNature
Ellington is not at sea level. It's a half valley, half hill town with elevations from 220 to 1000. I don't think he was serious. I think he just meant that he was in the valley and there can be a world of difference between there and here.

wxmanmitch
Burst of moderate to heavy snow here in the past 30 minutes but is beginning to taper as back edge approaches. Flipped earlier this morning, but only around 1/4" to show for it. We had a mix of rain and sleet during the overnight hours. #berkshireswinterfail
