powderfreak
About 1"/hr up here... though looks like J.Spin just south of here picked up an inch in 30 minutes, so some 2"/hr rates in the area.
moneypitmike
Weird that Central MA and places in W CT snow while MPM rains? It was even posted about flakes in the lower valley (Enfield) RN
jbenedet
100% Snow. Coming down moderately. Surface wind out of the north has picked up quite a bit. Should see quick flips progress south into northeastern MA.

HIPPYVALLEY
It was even posted about flakes in the lower valley (Enfield) RN I don't understand, you and I rain when a friend of mine in Turners Falls, no elevation, two blocks from the river, texted me that it's snowing there! wtf? Lol.

tamarack
Unbelievable 4-5" aggregates here. Only saw that once, when the silver dollars became paper-money size. They're more like 0.1-0.2" here, as we're north of the bright echoes. Fzdz changed to -SN about 8, then to 30 minutes of moderate, now back to light and maybe 1/2" new. Temp currently at 20. Radar loop suggests we get fringed with a couple inches, unless something happens to push the good stuff north.

jbenedet
Here's your RA/SN line at 925 mb. It made a big jump south east last hour so I'm sure this is already too far northwest. Currently near MA/NH border along the coast. http://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/mesoanalysis/new/viewsector.php?sector=16#
