Not sure if this is sarcasm but it's not a hole. It's virga. Closer to the beam shows up better because of angle. When precip fills in near the beam it means it's reaching the ground. Models originally had the coastal giving NO impact to anyone on the east coast. this thing has trended over 300 miles NW since 2 days ago.
