Got home about 9am this morning to nearly 3in at my place.  Left Danville Il. around 6am and got off of the main highway and took secondary roads most of the way back.  I was very surprised and it got a little hairy at times but it was fun.  Gotta take what I can get this winter  :weenie:

That trip isn't very scenic, is it? From what I've seen, it pretty much reminds me of Kansas, flat as a die and not many trees.

You guys got a little more down there than we did. You were probably better off taking the back roads than interstate. Here's what happens on I 69 with 1" of snow (Southern Huntington County):

Three semis, one on its' side and three other cars. Fun times.

/\ lol thats was my main concern.  I'd rather rely on my own wits than have to defend myself from others on the main thourofares lol.  But then again I'm a road less travled kind of guy ;).  Yeah, that drive is pretty desolate.  I started having visions of the movie Fargo on the way back.  Nothing like boots sticking out of a wood chipper to wake you up in the morning lol
