UlsterCountySnowZ
Mods can feel free to delete this if you don't think it warrants a thread, but some short term models (HRRR,RAP, 4K NAM) suggest a few moderate squall bands making there way through the region, and sadly this could be the most "snow" our area has seen yet lol Post OBS here
ag3
The only people who will see accumulations from this are whoever gets into the after dark snow squall that some models are advertising. Location doesn't matter. North, south, east. No difference. HRRR has been constantly pushing it into NNJ, NYC and LI but the latest Rgem does not have it at all for anyone so we just need to wait and see. This is not 1997. A snow squall will drop snow accumulations for whoever is under it. Not because someone is "north and west".

They lowered amounts towards northern Morris or southern Passaic. Mount holly stuck with their less than 1 inch as well. Probably just a coating here. Except it's currently in the lower 40's in NYC and in the middle 30's or colder inland, so it will start as snow here while the coast will need to wait until later. In the end, it's not going to amount to that much of a difference. Although I am sure the snow will stick much better to my lawn than the streets of NYC. donsutherland1
Looks like a heavier echo headed for the city, anyone in metro jersey reporting snow with that? Some of that band is rain. But perhaps it will cool the column when it comes through the City and later we'll see some snow showers.
