michsnowfreak
What's this... GFS is trying to show a little mercy and give snow starved SE MI some snow. GFS and NAM show this, RGEM does not. Will be interesting to see. Jokes aside, we are not snow starved here. Other than Chicago, I can't think of an area doing more well relative to climo than Detroit. We just keep on keeping on with the theme of recent years. We set snowfall records in years with good patterns, and in years with atrocious patterns like this year, we are still grind to near normal . Overall though, not looking forward to meltday tomorrow.EDIT 00z gfs sort of backed off.
TugHillMatt
It's Michigan's largest city and has over half the population of Michigan. Shrug. I was being more light-hearted than I think you took it? The "Detroit" is huge!

TravisWx
Woke up this morning in Rogers City to approx 1/8" ice accumulation everywhere. With the east wind, we are still getting more freezing rain. Doesn't look like it's going to slow down either for awhile.
Geos
Like the models predicted the rain fired up to the east and south. CAA now slowly bringing the temp down. Sun has even been out this morning.

josh_4184
Freezing drizzle made the roads pretty slick this morning, many schools closed. Looks like the rain won't much around here, waiting for LES to kick in later tonight through - Tuesday.

Geos
Down to freezing now with light fog and flurries. Took the opportunity to run through the car wash and get all the salt off the car. Thing of it was, everyone else had the same idea. 20 minute wait time!
