Stormpc
Pathetic crew in here. Counting flakes. This was not an EVENT. We are desperate and it shows.
Ian
Tracking pulse squalls that crossed the radar site was a bit tricky with the 10 min updates. Of course we do have all the airport radars.
mfastx
Wet flurries for about 20 min, no accumulation whatsoever. Most glorious 20 min of flurries I can remember.
HighStakes
Nice! Only a trace here, seems the heavier stuff missed me south, and north. But my deck is covered so that will work for me! The first line of snow showers that came through around 4:30 put down .2 and never melted so when the main line came through it just added to that. H2O
Not really sure anything fell here. Wind is whipping tho
MN Transplant
Watching along from afar. Guess I will record a trace.
WinterWxLuvr
How come we could keep this event well modeled five days out but nothing else stays the same? Northern stream

dailylurker
Definitely had a trace in Greenbelt. Once I got to Crofton it wasn't much. It was awesome seeing the wind and heavy snow, even if it didn't last long. On to the next!!

psuhoffman
this was earlier from the first band, got another 1/2" or so with the front.
Scarlet Pimpernel
Whew...finally on the board! Nice 20-30 minutes of decent snow, plus the wind. Picked up what I'll just call 0.1" for officially measurable! Feels good to at least break the no-hitter!

snowfan
Do you record a T on your annual snowfall totals? Yes? YOU DO NOT! live in a snow town.
Angela T
No flakes here from the clipper, but did see a couple of hours of snow showers a week ago Monday in RIC. So, I guess you would say a trace and no shut out for the year 2016. But still so sad chasing flakes.

dailylurker
Some big wind gust rolling through after the car topper. Just had a pretty impressive wind gust come though the woods. Had that roar. Reminded me of the 2/14/15 squall. I get goose bumps thinking about that night lol.
Ian
I don't for my personal list, but I do for CoCoRahs.I doubt it was more than T. Got some half assed mulch dustings here. Didn't see much ground whitening close in. Temps.

It was lamesies in Bethesda but we got on the board. Tried to take vid but had it on photo by accident and once I figured it out like 3 minutes later the best part was over so I said f it and went back inside. Next. North Balti Zen
Nice little event. What matters is that flakes fell, we broke the futility streak, and the football wasn't pulled when it was time to kick a field goal. On to the next one. PrinceFrederickWx
IAD on the board with 0.3"! Did IAD really get 0.3"? The daily climate reports and preliminary monthly climate data both say 0 for IAD (BWI and DCA have a T). I'm only asking so I can update the snowfall contest. mattie g
Do you record a T on your annual snowfall totals? Yes? YOU DO NOT! live in a snow town. I don't know what this post means, but I do record trace snowfalls. It's interesting to look back and see how I failed compared to other locations. Plus, it makes my snowfall list look more impressive from afar.

Ian
What was with that? Is 10 minutes now the new standard?Think it was because it was in clear air mode which I guess was necessary but still annoying with the slowness of updates.
