Chinook
Possible tornado near Rutledge AL, that couplet wont quit.... It looks like this has turned into a squall line now. Rutledge/Laverne AL may have had a tornado, but I have not seen any information on that.

downeastnc
Rough night in Florida a TDS couplet out east of Naples in the Everglades, pretty well organized if it holds up it might be a problem for the east coast of Florida. in NC there could be some pretty nasty winds with the squall that is fired up nicely especially south of the Triangle. downeastnc
Squall line in full on beast mode in NC right now, winds 60-80mph on velocity scans right behind it, might be wake lowing a bit....should see plenty of wind reports of gust well into the 40-50's and some 60's I bet. downeastnc
Up to 62 with a 57 DP, finally some STW for that squall line as it races thru Wake Co....bowing a bit and just now getting into the more unstable air....

shaggy
Line slightly bowing as it races across Pitt County i'm west central part of the county had upper 30's maybe 40 with lots of misty rain. Downeast is on the east side of the county so he should get hit harder than I did with the line looking stronger and bowing.

NCHurricane
Impressive MCV that crossed extreme eastern NC this morning. Major winds and an EF-1 tornado with this beast. Almost blew a semi off of the Alligator River bridge when it came through. Bridge sensor recorded a 77mph gust about the same time.

downeastnc
That mesolow was insane on radar, as was that squall, best one here in forever, winds had to be 50+ and the rain/wind created a whiteout effect that made it hard for me to see trees only 100 yrds away. I had around .30" in the rain gauge before than squall hit, it last 10 mins then there was some light rain after it and my gauge had 1.95" in it putting me right at 9" of rain for Feb. Crazy storm, we are near the coast well away from the tornadic activity but had 70 mph gusts and got .97" of rain in 11 minutes. 9" for any month is a lot of rain let alone half of February!!!
