Ji
on 6Z Para? yes...On 12z OP, maybe 0.15" but my maps could be off .18 for DCA with surface temps below freezing for all 2 hours of the storm:)

Bob Chill
GFS looking good for the d9 thing. Nice cad/wedge sig again. Fits nicely with the ens. No lp anywhere around the lakes and decent slp placement.

stormtracker
GFS looking good for the d9 thing. Nice cad/wedge sig again. Fits nicely with the ens. No lp anywhere around the lakes and decent slp placement. Might be a flush hit coming on with this look. But we never learn. Always 10 days away. Sigh. Ji
based on the Para relationship with the OP..the Para should be an inside runner at 12z
Bob Chill
Might be a flush hit coming on with this look. But we never learn. Always 10 days away. Sigh. I'm just looking at the general idea. There is good support for HP to be in place for once and would still work with a west track primary. Sure it could fail but at least for a different reason this time. Ji
you know the GFS is going to fail.... i know GFS is crap typically but its a pretty good model at 96....except the Friday storm is becoming a dud for even rain lol

Scraff
I love checking in here when we are on the upswing. Nobody near a cliff, people excited, etc. Hope it's like this after the king speaks. 1:00 out in front of the castle right? ;-)

Bob Chill
The day 8-9 storm is a pretty nice hit...Should I look at soundings? It's a solid (and normal) storm setup for us. Love everything about it. And best of all there is some ens support.

That might be a bit different from previous ones I believe...in a good way. Not that it will necessarily work out in this case, but there was always one thing or another to screw up things with other potential events, even at the times they looked "good". So we'll see...
