DopplerWx
Sweet jesus. This is orgasmic. No temps problems in northern SC? And is it slower? Seems like the bulk would happen Sunday.
UNCCmetgrad
132hrs the low is creeping up the coast near the VA/NC border. Still snowing decently in the NC piedmont and points north and east.
Brick Tamland
Is the start of the snow in NC being pushed back later to the 26th or is it still looking like Christmas day?
burgertime
SNE gets crushed with this run. Most everyone on the east coast will be happy with this.

Stormsfury
I don't understand how the energy is just GONE on the GFS. Does it just get completely sheared out by the northern stream? Exactly. The GFS is putting way too much emphasis on the northern stream and it is completely squelching the energy
Psalm 148:8
12Z euro major snow for ATL-AHN and south to MCN-Augusta. ~4-5" KATL to 5-6"+ central GA ok, Lookout...delete if you want.....I just diddled in my pants!!! burgertime
Is the start of the snow in NC being pushed back later to the 26th or is it still looking like Christmas day? Looks to be a Sunday/Monday storm. Some snow might start on Christmas, seems like most of the models don't do good with the onset of precip. It will probably come in earlier then expected. Cheeznado
If this verifies, its 3-6" for ATL, more to the NE of here, I will not get that excited yet, this is a big switch again, but the trend is certainly there for something good. tnweathernut
it sounds like the Euro is south and east, but bombs rapidly. This sounds like a Georgia, upstate SC, and central NC special..............leaving central TN out of the heavier snows. How does it look for the southern apps, TN side? packbacker
Good grief, I feel like we are living in Groundhog Day, we can't get this storm any closer than 120hr. Sorry to be the negative nelly :-).

Thanks. if it is as huge as it sounds like on the last Euro, I'll take it whenever. It would be just so special if it started on Christmas, though. eyewall
I wish the hell we were at 24 hours to go! The dream run now may not be the best thing. The good news is the amazing consistency. Obviously phase timing is essential and we must be careful to not engage in too much modelology and/or throwing out solutions just because we don't like them. burgertime
If this run verified for folks around CLT looks like it could easily be 8-

Half to ask since I don't have the in between, how far off the OBX are we talking, and any hint of a warm nose into the Coastal Plain? Or is the 850 line stack along the inner banks like the 0z run. Cheeznado
OMG I hope the board can handle this if it verifies, this just creams much of the East- almost (dare I say it) Superstorm like. Still would like to see a few more runs stick with this.....
