jrips27
GFS looks so much better for my area! Still not a ton of QPF but I won't worry about that right now...
Itunis
GFS looks so much better for my area! Still not a ton of QPF but I won't worry about that right now... .1-.25" QPF for much of GA with more in far NE/E GA. 850s at least are cold enough for snow. GaWx
Yeah, this looks so much better. I'm beginning to believe! I remember reading you saying no major snow for Atl., but rather two or tree ice storms on Christmas. Am I remembering right? We are talking airport, right? I remember northern Atl areas getting snow on Christmas, but like dustings. I keep hearing different stories. Thanks, T Tony, Yes, you are correct. I've found no major (3.5"+) snowfall on Christmas, but did find three major ZR's: 1943, 1945, and 1962.
WidreMann
Still too far off-shore, but at least it's getting the pattern right.

Rankin5150
This may not be the thread to ask this in, so if not...just delete Mods. I understand. My question to any of my SE Brethren is if there were any major highlights or takeaways from Foothills or RW regarding the 00Z GFS? TIA...

DopplerWx
Should be interesting to see if our local NWS offices change their forecasts now that the GFS has trended to the euro, wont be able to cling to the 50 degree high and rain forecasts. WidreMann
Is that convection on the gulf robbing us of moisture at Hr. 90 on GFS? There's no convection showing up. That's the low center itself.
