BxEngine Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Even though there still arent too many threats on the horizon yet, its time to start posting like we care about this place, and not just our own thoughts. Moderation wont be as lenient, especially in the pattern/discussion threads. In all threads, if you post thoughts regarding the pattern, stats, etc...please back up those posts with the stats/images you are discussing, if at all possible. Being incorrect because youre still learning is perfectly normal. Being incorrect because you misrepresent data is unnacceptable. If you are newer, or need help...ask! Although we are severely lacking in metorologists here, we have some incredible hobbyists who are more than willing to help us learn. The "elder statesmen" such as Don S and Bluewave are always helpful and willing to teach, so dont be afraid to ask. Even that curmudgeon forky will teach if you say you hate snow first. Keep the bickering to a minimum, this isnt a race to show how awesome you are on a weather board. Discuss the post/idea, not the poster. Bashing, especially of meteorologists, wont be tolerated at all. Just try to be nice. Rjay is a baby and gets upset at having to moderate stuff.
