NCHurricane
I've got the MA forum up on the other screen. No more posts after someone posted the Euro 48hr. I'm wondering if anyone is afraid to be the one that posts the rest of the run. Edit: NM they opened a new thread for the Euro run - lol. I was wondering.... Shawn
I really thought the Euro would stay close to the same or even North as it's 12z this run. I am speechless. Ensembles. Ensembles. Ensembles.

Indeed... never thought I'd see a run this close to an event showing this. I mean damn, this is better than most 10 day fantasy storms.
WxKnurd
If EPS shows anything remotely close to this and the 6z GFS comes in with the surface low south of Nashville then it is truly game on IMO

WxKnurd
Imagine some ensembles that are better than OP Then I can't laugh at my dad for buying that propane generator back in November! My butt will be stopping at Lowes at some point during my work travels in SC tomorrow if all of the above happens.

WeatherNC
Hard to comprehend 3"+ of qpf, all snow, with ratios likely being north of 12:1.

Shawn
For you guys that will end up getting hit hard... this storm is probably going to make you dislike anything else that pops up for many years to come. The amounts vs the average... just disappointing.
Shawn
Omg people are saying on Twitter that the euro is trending north with the gfs. What in the world? This is why the NWS posted a graphic earlier telling people to stop following any random forecast/weather info on social media. Even went as far to say they hype it basically. NGA WINTER
For you guys that will end up getting hit hard... this storm is probably going to make you dislike anything else that pops up for many years to come. The amounts vs the average... just disappointing. You're right. I haven't thought about it like that. Hopefully it won't take away from the flair from this site. But if you think about it like sports, that first championship is great, but it makes you hungrier for more.

chapelhillwx
To be fair, there is a lot more precip on the northern fringes than there was at 12z. Both us and the Mid Atlantic people are happy.

BIG FROSTY
Great run although the axis of heaviest snow shifted north. at 12z it gave me 27 inches 00z 18 inches.. But don't get me wrong I am not complaining one bit.. 18 good!!!
WeatherNC
Omg people are saying on Twitter that the euro is trending north with the gfs. What in the world? Welcome to the banter thread, an excellent place for a question like that. I think a lot has to do with your frame of reference. The upper level players have shifted a little south over the past 24 hrs, as has the southern extent of the storm.
