A road trip to Mauna Loa away!

Actually, you're probably going to be on Oahu, so a plane trip away.

Not looking great right now... http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-155.46914057796687&lat=19.82390302873017#.VpMc90KgSTA

Plus even if it did snow the sun angle & distance when you're at 12,000ft and close to the equator is pretty brutal... better get there while it's snowing because even a decent accumulation would disappear within the blink of an eye.

I think there should be a background check.

Amen.

All of my friends are sharing that same link. I've posted several times stating that models are all over the place and it's too soon to tell what will happen, but do you think they listen? Of course not.

It snows there a bit sometimes, mostly in the winter. I've seen videos of people skiing down the slopes before. But, yeah, looks like no snow in the near term there, nor is there any on the ground currently.

Rent your skis here! http://www.skihawaii.com/

IIRC, Mauna Kea actually means "White Mountain" in Hawaiian... precisely due to the snow.

EDIT: Looks like they actually got snow in July last year: http://www.bigislandvideonews.com/2015/07/17/hawaii-gets-summer-snowfall-on-mauna-kea/

Here we go with big winter storm next weekend..... great look huh!

Lol no worries.  The models just can't figure it out!  Like, these numerical number crunch monsters can't figure it out.  It is up to us to compute all the numbers one by one and come up with something better and reasons why the model is 100% wrong and we get massive snow storms!

Well, there was a nice little storm coming out of TX but that massive 50/50 low in the northeast just obliterates it into the gulf.

Cut or Crush. There is no inbetween.

I say Shut the models down until April, That way they will be tuned in for severe season. They certainly are useless this winter!!! Can't even get any guidance at all, not any consistency?

Severe would be a heck of a lot more fun than this Winter weenie crap.  I see others talking about how it's a nice little snow for SC/NC and all this kinda other crap at 240 hours. Lol.  Gotta love the weenie mobiles.  It's a sign guys.  A major sign of a storm. at 240. a sign!

Might be a bit carried away, but man... it was not a good run and I refuse to listen to anyone who tries to make light of it.
