I'm making lots of friends over in the midatlantic thread. Several people asked about the ukmet, so I posted it. Bad idea...

It's ok, you have lots of new friends here in the SE now. The new guys will flock to you just as if you won the $1.3 billion lottery!

What's up with the ukie tonight? The one night I stay up for it.

It's like waiting for the radar to refresh in the summer. It loads every 6 minutes until a big thunderstorm is a few miles from your house and then all of a sudden it goes 20 minutes without an update. lol

I'm surprised that site has not crashed. it's probably been refreshed 1000× per sec.

I just don't know what to say? milk, bread, eggs, candy, popcorn etc..........................

ALERT UPDATE GFS ENSEMBLES-- SHOW HUGE AREA OF 18-24 INCHES COVERING ALL OF RIC -- even to the EAST OUT TO CHO and DC

( WHAT IS AN ENSEMBLE WEATHER MODEL? Sometimes weather models produced goofy solutions!! Soooo one way of getting around that is to run the model 20 ...30... or 40.. times. The idea is based on the premise that if you run the same weather model 30 times you will get a much more probabilistic and likely scenario that will be more accurate and realistic then counting on just ONE model. so in ths case THIS GFS ensemble STRONGLY support the GFS Model and the eurorpean big snowstorm idea

Most important Euro run of our life on tap, sir!  :lmao:

I figure it won't live up to the hype and ridiculousness of the 12z run (How can it?), but hopefully it's still solid.

yeah no way it's a 12z run, but like you said hope it holds firm to the south.

Bastardi's som is says the gas moved 150 miles or more north and now the euro is clearly on its own. Ummmm. I swear I'm reading different and seeing maps with more southern trends and amounts. What up with this Garrett Bastardi? It's confusing. Twitter is mostly saying gas is cabs to euro, but now quite a few say it's north.
