I go to the long range thread for ensemble and euro info primarily. I can look at the gfs op maps on my own. 100% agree. Not needed in a long range discussion thread. It clutters and detracts. Play by play serves its purpose if the person doing it is at least somewhat qualified. Also need to be within 72 hours or so.
