USCAPEWEATHERAF
OES galore from hour 180 through 240, maybe feet of OES. EURO colder than GFS.
USCAPEWEATHERAF
Thanks Steve, the GFS shows .25-.50" of QPF for OES, in which I think the model says SN+ for 48 hours.
USCAPEWEATHERAF
Yeah it is pretty snowy from January 4th through 6th on the GFS, mainly OES and heavy too, delta Ts probably near 22-24C. That equates to heavy, heavy snow and high instability leading to thunder snow.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
GFS would be heavier, and remember, OES events are high ratio snows.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Models are not as bullish with primed OES events, I would like to see the HIRES models come into time frame for this event. I can't wait until next Monday.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Wow -10 to -19C. Just imagine if we get -12 to -14C and the water temps are +9 to +12C. those equate to delta ts of 21-26C, extreme instability and thunder snow. If only it was within 24 hours from now lol.
