SchaumburgStormer
Seeing on Twitter that a number of the confirmed deaths so far are from vehicles blown off a bridge on I30. I would assume the fatality toll will continue to rise into daybreak.
jojo762
You must have missed what happened in Joplin then. Those big box stores do not hold up well against tornadoes. The way they are constructed, if a wall fails then the roof will likely come down. I'm not sure if this report is even true, but I disagree with what you said. I believe a big box type store was hit in NC a few years back and collapsed(Might have been in 2011 as well). there is a difference between being "destroyed" and "collapsed" over being completely leveled. When I hear "level" I think of seeing nothing but concrete and perhaps some left over debris of to the side, not just collapsed walls.. You are correct though. They aren't the most sound structures.. JoMo
People often say 'leveled' when they see severe/catastrophic damage. I remember first hearing about St. John's hospital in Joplin on the radio shortly after the tornado. Early reports were that it was 'leveled'. Of course it was still standing, severely damaged. I'd call this gas station in Texas 'leveled'

Witness Protection Program
Hearing reports that the Target supercenter in Garland has been "leveled" according to scanner traffic.. Highly doubtful. Target is in the NW corner of Bush Tollway and Hwy 66. The damaged neighborhoods are 1.5-3 miles east of there. However, Dalrock Rd and Hwy 66 was hit hard, and there's 3 supermarkets on that intersection: Tom Thumb, Walmart Neighborhood, and Sunfresh. A Channel 8 newsroom worker that lives nearby said the Tom Thumb was hit.

JoMo
Is this the gas station from which one of the reported fatalities is coming from? I'm not sure. It's a picture of a gas station in the town where 2 people died at a gas station so I guess it could be a possibility.

Msalgado
The HRRR is looking like things could be pretty favorable for prefrontal storms tomorrow too. I'm planning to head out on my first morning chase ever. If storms fire west and south of CLL in the mostly treeless areas I think it'll be worthwhile. East of here is just pointless for the most part.

Torchageddon
Basehunters seems to catch everything, what a video and the stuff at the end! I haven't seen a tornado on video with the number of power flashes this one had. In the long 7 min video that was also on TWC? there was a point where there appears to be an explosion with fire and flames briefly beside the vortex...if this is correct then that is another first. OMG Jeff P almost got stabbed by a guy with a knife! https://www.periscope.tv/w/1vAxRPpWkwjGl Around the 12:30 mark on that link ^ He said in his 35 years of chasing, he's never had someone attack him. He stopped to help the guy. The guy mumbled something about an attorney, and grabbed Jeff by the throat and tried to stab him. Jeff went down the road and got a police officer. I don't have any words. He's the best and probably has seen more EF5/F5's than anyone else. The Periscope link says page not found which I suspected would be the case, hopefully it wasn't a temporary stream cache.

That Basehunters video might be one of the more impressive nighttime tornado videos ever. The amount of lightning/power flashes with this tornado really allowed for it to be illuminated very often. Srain
Formidable morning AFD from HGX. Some will recall that November 21, 1992 produced the only F4 tornado reported in Metro Houston. Obliviously the next day brought an extensive tornado outbreak further East.
