Carvers Gap
no problem. i know I'm a bit out of my more native areas (central/northeast PA and the midwest) and i hope I wasn't intruding. i just thought this would be the region of focus tonight, so would be the place where talk of this outbreak would be focused. that being said, yea the 00Z BNA sounding quincy put up definitely isn't good for the Music City. Not intruding at all. You are welcome any time. Glad to see Quincy in here as well. Thanks to Jax for the thread.
Jim Marusak
Nashville/Old Hickory just went with a tornado warning on that cell, even as it seems to be cycling attm. talk about a gutsy call for a large metro area. the more impressive cell is the one going thru Pleasant Valley, crossing i-24 headed for Springfield TN. but I am thinking they probably are playing it "better safe than sorry". Such a warning should also bring Nashville International to a ground stop, which would affect several airlines, but particularly Southwest. let's hope it's weaker than appearances as it approaches the Grand Ol Opry
