i know this is pure speculation attm. but if this long-track tornado makes it past Selmer, is there anything really stopping it from making it all the way to Nashville besides its own energy?

Its showing signs of choking but at the same time i'm starting to see rotation east of Selmer

Edit:sorry,west of Selmer

the cell survived, and has new warnings, heading for Nashville. damn. also though, looks like some more cells went solo near i-40 in west-central TN and also another one in northern MS near what I think is now I-22.

Jim, just wanted to thank you for adding commentary. I am a winter wx enthusiast, so I try not to clutter the severe threads. Anyway, thanks again for your expertise.

no problem. i know I'm a bit out of my more native areas (central/northeast PA and the midwest) and i hope I wasn't intruding. i just thought this would be the region of focus tonight, so would be the place where talk of this outbreak would be focused.

that being said, yea the 00Z BNA sounding quincy put up definitely  isn't good for the  Music City.
