mackerel_sky
Models are showing potential all time record highs for Christmas , up and down the east coast! State your guess here, weather is kind of boring now. I'm saying 64 for GSP , clouds and possible wedge, not buying the upper 70s

packbacker
RDU - 68 Fascinating that from Monday evening through the following Monday evening (21st - 28th) GFS say we don't drop below 50F. We don't drop below 60 from Tuesday afternoon until Saturday morning. That's nuts.

downeastnc
Gonna suck either way, last year it was the same crap with lots of rain around Xmas....it was colder....but it sucked either way. I think 76 for PGV from the NWS is a bit optimistic with the cloud cover and rain.....

Snowless in Carrollton
I think i'm more impressed with how warm the overnight lows will be. There may be 4 or 5 nights where the low doesn't get below 65. That's over 30 degrees above normal and 10-15 degrees above the normal high ! Our all time record high is 82 for December and it looks like we may break it. Time to go from heat to A/C. This really sucks.

I've never ever had to use the A/C in Late December but with overnight lows being so warm it may get a little stuffy inside.
