MattPetrulli
Interesting hook feature on a mini supercell in AL. It's in a prime environment and has some rotation in it.

UPROOTED TREES AND SOME DAMAGE FROM FLYING DEBRIS WAS REPORTED IN THE VICINITY OF THE TORNADO PATH. Thats funny but still ironic to me. My dad lives on Restin Road. Again, thankfully he is on the northside of the neighborhood. Glad there were no injuries.

dmc76
Winds were insane last night. House was shaking for a brief second over night. I can't believe I have power this AM. This area is so prone to power outages 6-8 outages a year.
stormtrackertf
The NWS just confirmed via WDIV that the Canton, MI damage was done by an EF-1 tornado. History has been made. ClicheVortex2014
Any thoughts on the intensity of Holly Springs tornado? I know at the time of impact, velocity scan was showing ~190 MPH G2G. But that was quite a far way above the ground... so based on that alone, I assume it's at least EF3 (that's awfully conservative I think). Based on damage, I think we might see an EF4. http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/tornado-photos-damage-southeast-mississippi-tennessee/54388401
