Jim_in_CA Posted December 18, 2015 Share Posted December 18, 2015 Just crazy! Am back in the area visiting for the holidays. Looks likely that DC will be warmer than both San Francisco and LA for Christmas -- Mountain View in Silicon Valley (where I now reside) looks 10-20deg cooler than what we'll have. This doesnt seem like a standard El Nino pattern to me -- rather it seems like the opposite of last year, but with El Nino warming it up a bit (e.g., cold anomalies in the west are less than the warm anomalies in the East).
