I can't sing, but...

Oh, the blow-torch in the East is frightful
And the heat, so un-delightful
Because we're home suffering in pain
The rain is lame, the rain is lame, the rain is lame

There's some hope in the long-range pattern
But we all must wait for it to happen
This is not some silly game
The rain is lame, the rain is lame, the rain is lame

There may be some hope in sight
Do not count the weather models out
I do not want this to be a fight
Or all the forecasters will pout

They must all work together
The torch cannot last forever
This isn't just about gaining fame
The rain is lame, the rain is lame, the rain is lame

Okay my last trolling... Super Nino rocks   :snowing:  .  yesterday's photo leaving the parking lot at Mt Bachelor.  Snow is just above first floor level of lodge in back ground.  12" or more since I took photo.

If it wasn't raining and I still lived in VA I'd be golfing today.  Enjoy your warm Christmas.

Whenever I make a serious post, I am always worried someone like Bob, Wes, Ian, or any of the other mets will just respond by saying "WxWatcher, you're an idiot, go back to posting gifs and running The Panic Room." I don't know why, but I do.

Random thoughts today by WxWatcher007

I feel your pain.

Picked up four corny kegs ten days ago and I'm now on a mission to build a kegerator. I've been watching videos and checking online sales on regulators, manifolds, and taps. I really only want to get top-of-the-line parts so I don't have to worry about them crapping out on me. It's a matter of pulling the trigger now.

Plan is for a three-tap kegerator with one keg in reserve. Last piece will likely be the actual fridge. More beer = less care about torch winter.

My dad is doing much better after a couple of bumps in the road. He will be able to come home for Christmas Eve and Christmas day, and we're hoping he is released from his physical rehab facility by the new year. It was the best news I got all year when I heard that he was well enough to be home on Christmas morning.

Glad to hear it and enjoy the time together. Family time is what this week is all about. I'm sure being at home for it after being in a hospital is a really big deal for your pops.

68 here,  need a little sun to really pop the temps.

We hit 80F here yesterday with full sunshine. Good day to get the final backyard work completed before the big Winter Storm sweeps across the area this weekend. Springtime to a Blizzard. Looks like the pattern is indeed transitioning. Merry Christmas Wes!
