Rain has moved out of the area. Picked up .43" today, .48" total. I hope the Euro is wrong about Wed night -Thur. Have to take the wife for a Dr. appointment Thursday morning an hour away, and the construction on I-40 makes the drive miserable enough as it is.

AS OF 210 PM MONDAY...

SOME UNCERTAINTY IN THE MID WEEK WITH LATEST ECMWF DEPICTING A
POTENTIAL SCENARIO SIMILAR TO TODAY ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A MID
LEVEL SHORT WAVE MOVES EAST ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY...SPURRING RAIN
IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA WHERE A COASTAL TROF PROVIDES LOW LEVEL
FUEL WITH SOUTHEAST ONSHORE FLOW = WEAK ISENTROPIC LIFT (290K) AND
MOISTURE ADVECTION. ONGOING FORECAST IS DRY AND WILL MAINTAIN THIS
PENDING CONSENSUS WITH BOTH GFS AND LATER ECMWF RUNS.

Right here. I have had 6+" every month since June and so far this month is at 2.5".

I've had one stretch of 7 cloudy days in a row. I've had above normal rain for each month since October. But those come in one or two day , big events, with lots of bright sun in between. All I've heard since September was that it would look like Seattle with all the cloudy , rainy days! It does look like Seattle , Seattle in the summer! Have not had a rainy or cloudy day, since last Wednesday !
