@78 995mb low over SC/NC coast.  All snow in E TN.  Hard to tell how much is falling. 

@84 strong slp over Hatteras.  Has a very Miller A look tonight.  The comma head in TN is light, but have to think if that slp verifies, going to be some good snows west of the Apps - even if not on the model tonight.

Sounds quite a bit like it's 12z run with the dying primary. For whatever reason the GFS is performing better for more of us. Not sure if it's holding the primary longer or if it's stronger or if the 500mb lp is more favorable or what. I don't think most of us between Nash and Knox get into the heavy stuff on the back side by the way you guys describe it.
