1234snow
The Parallel Euro looked beautiful for next week. This is becoming a real threat. The mid week storm gives around 2 inches for most of the northern half of the state. Nothing really different then most models for the Wednesday event. The end of the week storm is a classic miller A bomb. It gives the northern valley quite the event.

It's funny 1234,its looks like a good chance of snow for us but it's the same ole bad luck for us the kids better play in it as soon they wake up,by mid morn it will change over to rain and be gone.We just cant win here. jaxjagman
Different circimstances, but weren't we in 1 and 2 last winter when winter finally arrived in the East? Yes,but in an enso season the correlation is different.I like using the free maps on this site,American. In a non enso year p3 would be warm, but in an enso year p3 is cold http://www.americanwx.com/raleighwx/MJO/MJO.html

jaxjagman
Nashvilles disco dont reflect to the euro temps, would use them with caution right now. AFTER SUNRISE THIS MORNING...CLOUDS WILL HAVE BEGUN TO CLEAR OUT OFMIDDLE TN. WE WILL SEE SOME SUN LATER THIS MORNING AND INTO THEEARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. WE THEN TURN OUR ATTENTION TO OUR NORTHWESTTHIS EVENING. A DRY FRONTAL PASSAGE WILL BRING WITH IT MORECLOUDS FOR TONIGHT...THEN REALLY DRY AIR AND VERY COLDTEMPERATURES OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. TEENS ARE EXPECTEDMONDAY MORNING AND IT LOOKS LIKE SOME SINGLE DIGITS ARE LIKELY BYTUESDAY MORNING. THE BAD PART ABOUT THAT...ONCE WE FALL BELOWFREEZING TONIGHT...IT COULD BE WEDNESDAY BEFORE A LARGE PORTION OFTHE MID-STATE CLIMBS BACK ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK. SO...IF YOUHAVEN`T GOTTEN THE WINTER COATS OUT...NOW`S THE TIME.
Carvers Gap
Will wait for 12z...but we may need a thread for the EC storm. In no way am I implying that we are going to get hammered like the MA. But the LR discussion and short range in the same thread is getting a bit convoluted. Or better yet, just make a short range thread. Who has the hot hand?
