swamplover56
Does anyone know why the chart is assuming a 15:1 ratio? Just showing what the snowfall would be at 15:1 instead of the default 10:
IntenseBlizzard2014
What's that old saying about not wanting to be in the jackpot 6-7 days out? But wow if that 12z OP Euro run survives the under 120 and especially 72 hr test. It's interesting how the OP is a run or two behind the parallel. The 12z OP is close to what the 0z parallel was showing. The event technically starts This Friday. Right? So that's around 5 days away. From my ASUS ZenFone 2 (ARM 1.8 GHz Quad Core CPU w/4 GB of RAM).

WintersGrasp
I'm guessing it already happened and the media will latch onto it later or tomorrow. I think it should be set to 20 or 25:1 to ensure that it has different colors and goes viral again. Otherwise, too many people will assume that it's just the same snow map passed around for a few years.

IntenseBlizzard2014
Two things that could go wrong. The lead vort de-amplifies the ridge along the coast and we get a weaker storm that may slide OTS. Or we get a weaker West Coast Ridge and the storm hardly amplifies, thus giving us a more frail storm. From my ASUS ZenFone 2 (ARM 1.8 GHz Quad Core CPU w/4 GB of RAM). From my ASUS ZenFone 2 (ARM 1.8 GHz Quad Core CPU w/4 GB of RAM). 120 hrs is generally when the low gets near 40N. That is about 144 hrs out on the 12z Euro. So tomorrow should be interesting to see where things stand. Sometimes the Euro locks in at 120 like February 2013, but other times it struggles into the short term like last January. Edge Weather
I really don't understand why on earth you are posting a chart with 15:1 ratios? If you were going to post one, which I don't believe you are ever supposed to link that chart anyway, you should link one posting 10:1. I mean it could more easily end up being 8:1 than your 15:1. CIK62
Christ in heaven .image.jpeg Which service produced this output? I only deduced 10" for us using the StormVista output. What does the nameplate say?
Rjay
Which service produced this output? I only deduced 10" for us using the StormVista output. What does the nameplate say? SV is conservative. WB is weenieish. Reality usually falls somewhere in between. Note to all. Stop looking at some maps! They mean nothing and will drive you nuts.
